What type of companies are not allowed in the industrial park?
Exception/ Restriction of industries within the park are categorized as heavy chemical industries which may contribute to a hazardous environment; meat processing industries, fish processing industries and textile industries.
What is the required procedure for renting a space?
A completely filled out application form must be submitted. This can be found on the Download page. The application form must be accompanied by bank and commercial references and will be processed within 24 hours. Upon verifying the requested information, a quotation for the ideal location for your business will be sent to you. Once you have approved this quotation, a rental agreement will be signed.
What is the average duration of a rental contact?
The average duration ranges from 4-5 years to 5-7 depending on the type of business or activity you wish to establish. However, short lease rentals are considered for existing tenants and those seeking locations for a limited time period
Is Rahman Industrial Park considered a free economic zone area?
No. The state owned economic zone facility is not applicable to our privately owned industrial park. Companies operating at the industrial park are not required to export their goods. Are there lots available for construction for a custom made project?
Yes. Our Built-to-Suit, Built-to-Made options allow an interested client to customize and tailor-made their facility according to their specifications.
Are there any fees that need to be paid prior to signing a rental agreement?

Where is Rahman Industrial Park located?
The park is situated in Gazipur, which has evolved into a major industrial and logistics hub hosting the production plants of not only the biggest RMG brands but also FMCGs like Marico, Unilever, British American Tobacco.
What proportion of government regulation/licenses will Rahman Industrial Park take care of?
We will coordinate with the necessary government departments to obtain requisite licenses and permissions for the building but the business license, as well as the environment and fire license for their operation needs to be obtained by the tenant.
Do you have any tenants now?
Yes, we have 3 foreign tenants at the moment.
Do you sell plot/land at Rahman Industrial Park ?
No. The park is privately owned by the owner and plots and factories are only available for long term lease only.
Is electricity provided via the power sub-station or are there standby generators on site?
We provide power substations but not generators. For any temporary power breakdown in the area, individual businesses usually have their own generators to avoid disruption in operation. However for common areas, reserve power will be stored by our generators and solar panels.
What about the security?
We have 24/7 CCTV coverage of the entire area. The entire park is a gated private property with secured entry and exit points and full time manned uniformed security team trained by a trio of retired ex-army officials.
How long is the gestation period for a unit?
Depends on the box. If it’s a simple 3PL or FMCG Warehouse, it could be built in as little as 5-6 months.
